This role is for an individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. This individual will multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment while providing best-in-class customer service. The Agent evaluates branch's needs and coordinates freight transfers accordingly, ensuring branch transit expectations and customer deadlines are met. Qualified applicants MUST have 1-3 years of air freight experience.Responsibilities:Understand each branch's customers and their unique needs, in order to meet expectations on a daily basisRespond to branch/customer inquiries and follow-up to ensure issue resolutionCollaborate with support staff, overseas offices and other third parties to ensure efficiency, continued exemplary customer service, and relationship developmentFocused on getting the job done, but being flexible to meet individual branch/customer needs when communicatedUnderstand and input applicable financial components of shipments for proper billing of customersHandle existing shipments in proprietary system, editing and updating shipments which will be visible by parties overseas and customers onlinePrepare and review routine reportsProvide support (reporting, documentation, etc.) to Sales Executives and Account Managers as they prepare for business reviewsEnsure adherence to branch SOPs, US Customs regulations, and C.H.
