Support the activities of the Consolidated Operations & Anomaly
Support Team (COAST) and Development Contract Software Program as a
member of the Software Configuration Management (SCM) team's Data
Management activities. Tasks include:
Support SDRB/SCCB activities
Maintain and updated Discrepancy Report (DR) databases
Produce multiple weekly agendas and minutes
Manage meetings
Scheduling, running, sometimes flipping charts for others
Timely responsiveness to a high volume of email traffic
Formal document control and release
Assisting Software Project personnel in the release of their
documents
Maintain and publish build plan weekly
Contribute to process improvement as we transition to new, more
Agile, ways of accomplishing the goals of SCM
Contribute to training others in SCM Data Management tasks and in
helping software program personnel better understand those
processes
Ideal candidate is a self-starter who is capable of prioritizing to
keep track of a variety of requests and tasks, and who knows when
to ask for guidance. This team practices the "work-life-balance"
concept, but there will be times when extended work hours will be
necessary to stay ahead of deadlines. You will likely be
challenged, but you will be joining a team of knowledgeable and
dedicated professionals who will not hesitate to work with you to
help you ensure the success of your efforts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Current DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
clearance to start
Bachelor's degree + 2 years related experience, master's degree OR
6 years of experience in lieu of degree
Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Visio)
Advanced abilities in Word, able to comfortably work with tables,
figures, automatic numbering, TOC, PDF conversion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
SCI clearance
Hands on experience with Atlassian Tools - Jira and Confluence
Experience or familiarity with ClearQuest
Hands on experience with basic Linux commands
Previous experience on a Software development or O&M
program
Salary Range: $70,200 USD - $105,200 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,
life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays
and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
