This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Repairs, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintain routine electrical systems and equipment.Cuts, threads, bends couples, and straps conduitInstalls and repairs switch boxes, lighting, plugs, sockets, fuses, ballast, drivers, and extension cordsDisassembles motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repairTroubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiencyUses blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications to perform routine electrical workUses electrical hand tools and voltage-or-amperage measuring and recording devicesQualifications - ExternalBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED2 years of Commercial or Industrial electrical experience in service and repairPreferred Qualifications:Active SCI ClearanceTrade school certificate or degree in ElectricalNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
