SSSD Business Management is seeking an Operations Research Analyst
or Principal Operations Research Analyst to fill our critical and
specialized technical needs. This position will be located at our
Space Systems Sector in Redondo Beach, CA.
Working in both classified and unclassified networks, with up to
25% telework available, the selected applicant will work in a
people-focused environment interfacing with users and customers on
Department of Defense (DoD) systems. This role participates in the
entire software development lifecycle of web and windows-based
applications using multiple high-level programming languages and
technologies from concept to execution. The systems we develop
enable the highest-quality decision making from a dynamic team of
both technical and business management end-users.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging
applications software and systems
Adhering to software standards and requirements
Multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple projects, deadlines, and
responsibilities
Assist with analyzing complex problems and developing solutions
This position requires the incumbent to possess a Department of
Defense (DoD) active Top Secret (TS) security clearance or access
to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI).
THIS ROLE MAY BE FILLED AT EITHER A LEVEL 2, OPERATIONS RESEARCH
ANAYST OR LEVEL 3, OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST AS OUTLINED ON THE
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS.
Operations Research Analyst - Level 2 (no title)
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
2 years of work experience to include any combination of Business
Management, Systems Development or Administration OR a Master's
with 0 years of stated experience
An active DoD TS and/or SCI Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
DAX scripting experience and familiarity with MS PowerBI
Ability to acquire a CompTIA Security+ certification within 6
months of hire
SQL and/or VBA script writing experience
Familiarity with Html, CSS and JavaScript
Familiarity with Microsoft Project and/or other Scheduling
Programs
Operations Research Analyst - Level 3 (Principal title)
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5 years work experience to include
any combination of Business Management, Systems Development or
Administration or 3 years of stated experience with a Masters
Degree
An active DoD TS and/or SCI Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to acquire a CompTIA Security+ certification within 6
months of hire
DAX scripting experience and familiarity with MS Power BI
Python programming experience
Familiarity with Django (or other) web framework
.Net programming experience
SQL and/or VBA script writing experience
Familiarity with Html, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with Microsoft Project and/or other Scheduling
Programs

Salary Range: $74,900 USD - $112,300 USD
Salary Range 2: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
