We are seeking someone that has the ability to report on-site daily. We can accommodate partial telework but this is dependent upon business/program/team need.You will support a small team of engineers to define, develop, decompose, analyze, verify, and validate requirements for the ground segment of a new satellite system. In this role, you will be interacting with the customer and PGSD leadership to define and maintain the technical baseline. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to develop the requirements and models necessary to guidestakeholders & sub-contractors in acquisition & installation of this ground equipment.--- Developing & verifying functional & interface requirements for MODEMs and Front-End Processors (FEPs)--- Generating, coordinating & baselining Unit Specs & their Interface Control Documents (ICDs)--- Creating AC & DC electrical & RF & Digital signal flow & I/O diagrams--- Calculating RF signal loss & RF satellite link budgets--- Working with Test Set Team in defining & selling-off Automated Test Equipment (ATE)--- Coordinating with Sub-contractors for Hardware & CDRL Deliveries--- Identifying & resolving Issues/Actions/Risks uncovered during Workings Groups--- Interacting with stakeholders to understand & implement end-user system mission needsBasic Qualifications for Ground COMMS-Hardware Sr Principal Systems Engineer (Level-4):--- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 9+ years of related engineering experience, or a Master's degree in STEM with 7+ years of related engineering experience--- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance (US Citizenship Required)--- Experience with S- and K-band SATCOM Ground Stations--- Experience with ATE Racks--- Familiarity with AC & DC power systems--- Working knowledge of Verification Cross-Reference Matrices (VCRMs)--- Familiarity with MS-Office, DOORSPreferred Qualifications--- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML & Cameo, Jira & Agile ProcessesSalary Range: $129,700.00 - $194,500.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
