Aeronautics Systems has an opening for either a Level 3 or Level 4
Contract Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse
individuals. This position will be located on site in Redondo
Beach, CA with partial telework available.Essential
Functions:Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation,
contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide
for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with
company policies, legal requirements, and customer
specificationsExamine estimates of material, equipment services,
production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules
to ensure accuracy and completenessPrepare bids; process
specifications,progress, and other reports; advise management of
contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data; and
maintain historicalinformationPerform contract execution
tasksAdminister, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and
nonstandard contractsProvide knowledge of the FAR and DFARs,
general knowledge of pre and post-award federal government
contracting industry practices, techniques, and
standardsDemonstrate the skill and ability to perform moderately
complex contracts administration tasks, to include proposal
preparation, the development of change orders and processing of
inter-company work ordersDevelop solutions to a variety of problems
of moderate scope and complexityThis position may be filled as
either a Level 3 Principal Contract Administrator or a Level 4 Sr
Principal Contract Administrator.Basic Qualifications for a
Principal Contract Administrator:Bachelor's degree with 6 years of
contracts, proposals, and/or business-related experience, or a
Master's degree with 4 years of stated experienceExperience with
Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Knowledge of FAR, DFARS,
and other U.S. Federal Government contracting regulationsBasic
Qualifications for a Sr Principal Contract Administrator:Bachelor's
degree with 10 years of contracts, proposals, and/or
business-related experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of
stated experienceExperience with Microsoft Office (Word,
PowerPoint, Excel)Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other U.S. Federal
Government contracting regulationsPreferred Qualifications:An
advanced degree in a relevant field (JD, MBA, etc.)Current active
DoD ClearanceRecent experience as a Contracts Professional in the
defense industryStrong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other U.S.
Federal Government contracting regulationsExperience with various
contract types including cost reimbursable, fixed price, time and
materialsExperience with various types of agreements, including
Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming AgreementsWe offer phenomenal

USD $125,800 USDSalary Range 2: $103,900 USD $155,900 USDEmployees
may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
