We also offer exceptional benefits/healthcare, a 9/80 schedule, and a great 401K matching program.We have an opening for either a Principal Systems Engineer or a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join our talented, diverse team in Redondo Beach, CA.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systemsAnalyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposalEnsures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraintsPerforms functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specificationsThis requisition may be filled at either a Principal Systems Engineer level or a Senior Principal Systems Engineer levelBasic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer:Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of related experienceActive DoD Secret or Top Secret ClearanceBasic Qualifications for Senior Principal Software Engineer:Bachelor's degree in STEM with 9 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in STEM with 7 years of related experienceActive DoD Secret or Top Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with Agile development as a product ownerExperience using the DOORS Requirements Management DatabaseFamiliarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and conceptsSalary Range: $101,400 USD $152,200 USDSalary Range 2: $125,800 USD $188,600 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
