Communications team at Northrop Grumman's historic Space Park
campus in Redondo Beach, CA is looking for an engaging Lead Curator
for our Space Systems Exhibit and Si Ramo theater.In this role,
you'll work with a cross-functional team to prepare and lead guided
tours and educational sessions for audiences that include K-12
schools, community organizations, media members, government
officials and customers.Your skillset should include strong
creative and storytelling abilities; superior organizational,
project management and time management skills; a
borderline-fanatical attention to detail while keeping the big
picture in mind; and demonstrated success creating/executing
exciting exhibit content and tour programming that is customized
based on your audience.If you have experience using those skills
while working with senior-level executives in the aerospace &
defense industry and you geek out about all things space-related,
you've already earned extra credit points.Work Duties:Prepare and
lead guided tours of our space systems exhibit in support of our
Customer Engagement, Legislative Affairs, Corporate Responsibility
and Talent Acquisition functions.Lead virtual tours when
requested.Write, update, maintain and customize current tour
scripts.Coordinate updates to exhibit content and audio-visual
technology.Recruit docents to lead guided tours, and lead docent
training program.Manage day-to-day operations of the exhibit and
adjacent theater.Manage theater calendar and de-conflict scheduling
requests.Perform theater technology start-ups for all
meetings.Perform initial troubleshooting and simple repair of
audio-visual technology.Maintain a strong working relationship with
internal and external suppliers and vendors including: IT,
facilities, audio/visual vendors for technical support and
equipment repair and replacement.Desired Skills:Experience with
public speaking and/or presenting guided tours to a range of
audiences, including: government and industry VIPs, STEM students,
employees and other company business associates.Basic understanding
of graphic design and experience designing content and solutions
that adhere to brand standards.Experience in content development
and execution strategies related to video production, storytelling
and audience experience in a museum space.Strong writing, verbal
communication and presentation skills.Understanding of software and
hardware requirements of varied departmental systems.A high level
of attention to detail.Ability to think strategically, apply
organizational skills and work in a collaborative team
environment.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and
meet tight deadlines.Ability to work with senior business leaders
and across different stakeholder groups.Ability to adapt to

position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule
allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday
to take every other Friday off.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's
degree with 10+ years of experience related to communications,
public speaking, museum/exhibit curation or a related field - OR -
8+ years of experience as outlined above with Master-level
degree.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint,
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Excellent written and verbal
communication skills, strong judgement, problem solving and
organizational skills, and superb attention to detail.Ability to
obtain a security clearance. US Citizenship is a
prerequisite.Preferred Qualifications:Ability to work under
pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and
composure.Possess a high level of interpersonal skills and a
"can-do" attitude.Aerospace and Defense experience.Salary Range:
$107,000 USD $160,600 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including
