Payload and Ground Systems (PGS) division of Northrop Grumman's
Space Systems sector is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer
who wants to solve interesting, complex problems to protect our

from concept through operations and support. The team you will
support is located at our Space Park campus in Redondo Beach,

401K matching program.What you'll get to do?As a Systems Engineer
on this team, you will support a team of engineers to define,
develop, decompose, analyze, verify, and validate requirements for
the ground segment of a satellite system. You will also support
architecture design that stems from these system requirements,
decomposed across multiple levels, aimed to represent the ground
capabilities, that have a major impact on the mission. In this
role, you will be interacting with the customer, subcontractors,
Software, Hardware, Operations, Integration and Test, higher level
systems engineering and integration teams, as well as program and
project leadership to define and maintain the technical baseline.
Ultimately, it is your responsibility to drive the program through
maturity and milestones to achieve the mission, ensuring everything
is synchronized.Basic Qualifications:9 years of relevant experience
with a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 7 years of
relevant experience with a Masters' degree in a STEM discipline; 4
years of relevant experience with a PhD in STEM disciplineWorking
knowledge of systems engineering principles and processesExperience
reviewing software code baselines and other technical documentation
(particularly python, java, c++ as well as other object oriented
and scripting languages)Experience supporting requirement
development/testing/verificationExperience working with Atlassian
tool suite (i.E. JIRA, Confluence, etc.)Active DoD Top Secret
clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access or active SCI
accessPreferred Qualifications:SCI clearanceSalary Range: $125,800
USD $188,600 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus
in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
