seeks a creative employee communicator who is confident in being a

Employee Experience Communications Manager for Northrop Grumman's
Strategic Space Systems Division, and is located in Redondo Beach,
CA.In this job, you'll:Support efforts to inform and inspire
employees, as well as drive business priorities within Space
Systems.Support maintenance of internal communications tools,
including websites and digital signage monitors.Manage creation and
dissemination of all content across all Internal Communications
mediums including: Daily informational email, Weekly and monthly
newsletters, Web stories, Digital signage and Internal magazine
stories.Coordinate Space Systems sector events including preparing
and coordinating materials, register company and attendees and
manage guest lists.Provide proposal / presentation support and work
closely with proposal team to meet strict deadlines on short
notice.Layout and construct proposals/presentations.Proofread copy
for spelling, grammar and punctuation and make appropriate
corrections.Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final
copy.Conceptualize, procure and produce a diverse array of
inspirational content about our people, technologies, successes and
business capabilities. Content will range from articles and videos,
to interviews, Q& As, infographics, and photo/caption
features.Write, edit, distribute and measure strategic and timely
business announcements, news items, digital content, articles and
videos.Ensure all communications plans and tactics are consistent
with the company's strategic vision and reflect the Northrop
Grumman brand.Work with other Communications personnel across the
sector and corporation.You'll be a great fit if you:Have excellent

position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule
allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday
to take every other Friday off.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's
Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or a
related field and 3+ years of related experience OR a Master's
degree as outlined above and 1+ year of related
experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
strong judgement, problem solving and organizational skills, and
superb attention to detail.Strong writing and editing
skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential
materials.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint,
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Some experience in PhotoShop and
InDesign software programs.U.S. Citizenship.Preferred
Qualifications:Ability to communicate effectively with
professionals demonstrating tact and poise.Some experience in
employee and with executive communications .Possess a high level of
interpersonal skills and a "can-do" attitude.Strong attention to

tools including website content management systems such as
SharePoint and other digital communications tools such as
Confluence and SmartSheet.Familiarity with the Adobe Suite of
products and a basic understanding of HTM.Some experience in basic
photography and videography.Experience with Associated Press
Style.Experience producing omni-channel editorial content for a
newspaper, news channel, video, magazine or other venue.Salary
Range: $58,000 USD $87,000 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including
