Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Systems Engineer or
Associate Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse
individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.The
Associate Engineer Systems Architect or Engineer Systems Architect
will be responsible for developing system architectures, defining
key capabilities and performance requirements, decomposing
functionality, and defining interfaces in a Model Based Systems
Engineering (MBSE) environment. This individual will collaborate
with cross-functional engineering teams to establish architecture
content and develop solutions that achieve customer intent. A
successful candidate will demonstrate good communication skills,
systems thinking, and the ability to capture technical design in
MBSE architecture products.This role can be filled at either the
Associate or Engineer Level.Basic Qualifications for the Associate
Level:Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years
of experienceBasic Qualifications for the Engineer Level:Bachelor
of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of experience,
OR a Master of Science degree and 0 years of experienceBasic
Qualifications at either level:Ability to obtain and maintain
Special Program AccessPreferred Qualifications:An active DoD Secret
clearance that is in-scope or currently under continuous
evaluationExperience developing MBSE artifacts such as behavior
diagrams (activity, sequence, or state machine) and structure
diagrams (block definition and internal block diagrams) in SysML,
DoDAF/UPDM, or UAFExperience with parametric diagrams and linkage
between MBSE tools and Analytical models such as Matlab.Experience
using an MBSE tool, such as Cameo Enterprise Architecture or
MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, PTC Integrity or Windchill Modeler, or
Sparx Enterprise ArchitectExperience with DOORs or other
requirements management tool and integration with MBSE
softwareExperience with Systems Engineering activities, such as
functional analysis, requirements development and decomposition,
interface definition, or verificationExperience with military
aircraft architectures and the military aerospace design
environmentInterfacing and presenting to customers.Ability to
analyze architectures and develop MBSE views in DoDAF/UPDM or
SysMLAbility to work in a collaborative, geographically dispersed
team environmentShould have previous Systems Engineering or MBSE
experienceShould be familiar with DoDAF/UPDM, SysML, or UAFSalary
Range: $70,200 USD $105,400 USDSalary Range 2: $85,000 USD $127,400
USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
