Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer/Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer. Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer for a college hire opportunity. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in either Redondo Beach, El Segundo, Palmdale, or Rancho Bernardo, CA . Essential Functions:Develops new and/or integrates existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models. Simulates real-time operations and develops software that simulates behavior of systems. Develops integrates and uses advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools. Models operational environments, performs trade studies via computer simulation and recommends alternative architectures. Performs operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis.Basic Qualifications:This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer level or a Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer level.Basic Qualifications for an Associate Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer: A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
    • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
    • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
    • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)Basic Qualifications for a Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer: A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
      • Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution or is completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of mechanical engineering experience
      • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
      • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
      • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)Preferred Qualifications:
        • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7/4.0 or higher
        • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
          Pay Range:
          • Associate Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer: $ 68,100.00 to $ 102,100.00
          • Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer: $ 82,400.00 to $ 123,600.00 campusjobs Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD Salary Range 2: $82,400 USD - $103,000 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
