Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Senior Principal Supply Chain Business Operations/Compliance Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position can be located in one of the following locations; Redondo Beach, CA, San Diego, CA, Palmdale, CA ,Melbourne, FL or remote.

Essential Functions:

Leads or supports cross-functional process improvement teams across the Sector
Identifies systems solutions to support business efficiencies; translates business requirements into systems requirements; develops business cases and Return on Investments for systems solutions; supports systems projects; change management; and recurring process control and analysis
Innovates, develops, and implements tools and practices to support operational efficiency leveraging existing and projected capabilities
Defines, manages, or participates in improvement projects aligned with business strategies
Facilitates and coaches' improvement teams
Documents supply chain policies and procedures
Establishes and maintains process management performance metrics to measure program success
Ability to adapt quickly, be flexible, analyze data and have proficiency in preparing white papers, briefings and presenting for various audiences.
Instill process excellence, communications, training, certifications, and continuous improvement within GSC
Interpret, execute, and recommend modifications to organizational policies
Lead or Manage Special Projects
Act as an advisor to staff members to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems

Basic Qualifications for Principal Supply Chain Business Operations/Compliance Specialist:

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: Global Supply Chain, Business Management, Program Management, Integration, and/or Engineering; Master's degree with 3 years of experience; 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
Knowledge of supply chain management, planning & operations, risk & opportunity management, project management, DoD program life cycle
Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARs
Must be proficient in SAP, Microsoft applications and SharePoint
Experience and ability to develop technical requirements documents and policies and pro
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience evaluating Supplier processes and assisting with process enhancement implementation projects
Mentor-prot--g-- experience a plus
Agile Project Experience
Flexible, collaborative work style, and the willingness to be an active and supportive member of a global team
Ability to make recommendations and provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion
Ability to use Lean / Six-sigma techniques with significant project completion experience
Ability to manage and facilitate cross-functional, cross-sector and global teams

Salary Ranges: $72,400 - $155,900

Salary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $103,900 USD - $155,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
