Job Description:

The Retail Development Manager, TFB (RDM) drives new product/program adoption and success across T-Mobile for Business (TFB). This role will serve as a subject matter expert on new products and will build Field expertise on those products while also ensuring an exceptional customer experience. In addition, this role will act as a primary POC on all issues concerning products/programs. Ultimately, the RDM will be tasked with influencing Leaders to ensure product expertise is developed and translated into meeting sales targets.

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4-7 years Sales and operational experience in a sales organization - required
  • Business Analysis - required
  • Team Building - required
  • Bachelors Degree - preferred
  • 2-4 years New product and technology launch programs - preferred
  • Product Expertise: Be an early adopter of T-Mobile's latest products and services. Develop product expertise in order to evangelize product features/benefits and influence sales results with store leaders. Contribute to product innovation through surfacing customer input and product ideas based on customer interactions/experiences and relaying that feedback to Sales Operations.
  • Product Training of new products and services. Conducts skills practices and provides coaching on delivering effective product conversations. Supports the cascade of product communications / rollout and the reinforcement of formal training programs. T-Mobile Connect will be used as a vehicle for the RDM to deliver content where/when available.
  • Driving Sales Focus: Ensure focus on new products and technologies and understand the importance of selling them. The RDM will on occasion attend customer appointments within the RDM's responsibilities and ensure all relevant customer-facing interactions are up to standards.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluates product performance and identifies any gaps or opportunities. Partners with leadership to create an action plan, close gaps, and institutionalize best practices. Provides feedback to internal teams as to what training and process enhancements would be most impactful.
