mission.The Software Development & Test (SWDT) team at Northrop
Grumman Space Systems (NGSS) is looking for you to join our team as
a Software Engineer based out of Boulder, CO. Alternate locations
of Redondo Beach, CA and Azusa, CA considered.What You'll get to
Do:Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application
software and systems that contain logical and mathematical
solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates
with other teams (Integration & Verification, etc.) in the
planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing
systems for products solving our customer requirements.This
position may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3 based on
skills/qualifications.Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related degree with
5 years software development experience; 3 years with Masters; 0
years with PhD; or 9 years of related experience in lieu of degree
Active DoD Secret Clearance Knowledge of C/C++ and LinuxBasic
Qualifications for a Level 4: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
or other related degree with 9 years software development
experience; 7 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD; or 13 years of
related experience in lieu of degree Active DoD Secret Clearance
Experience with C/C++ and LinuxPreferred Qualifications: Top
Secret/SCI clearance Shell scripting experience Java development
Agile development experience Configuration management for software,
e.G. GIT Full software development lifecycle experience Software
peer review process Software development environment experience
Experience working in teams to develop SW and troubleshoot SW to
find/fix defects Experience in the development of User Interface,
process control, and/or algorithms Knowledge of the Overhead
Persistent Infrared (OPIR) and/or SBIRS architecture a bonus
Willingness to support requirement development and decomposition
Experience working with remote teamsThis position reports to
Boulder, CO, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the
additional 2 locations listed above.Salary Range: $82,400 USD
$123,600 USDSalary Range 2: $101,400 USD $152,200 USDEmployees may
be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
