Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.The selected candidate will perform the Mission Engineering, Simulation and Analysis Section Manager role, which is a dual-hat Engineering Manager responsible for both section management (15 - 20% of time) and existing program responsibilities (80% or more of time). Along with reporting into a program, the Section Manager is also a member of the Mission Engineering, Simulation and Analysis organization with responsibilities to perform resource planning and staffing; employee engagement, staff development, including skills training and career support; performance management, including employee goal setting, annual reviews, and issues resolution. The Section Manager is also responsible for the deployment, measurement, and improvement of tailored, lean SE processes and procedures and supporting product cost reduction strategies. The Section Manager will be a functional management point of contact at the work site for one of the Mission Engineering, Simulation and Analysis Department and will support and implement activities supporting departmental initiatives, reporting directly to the Department Manager. Sections will have on the order of 15 people. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 7+ years of engineering experience OR Master's Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 5+ years of engineering experience Active Top Secret/SSBI clearance and/or current SCI access required.Prior experience as a manager or a team lead.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Mission Engineering, Modeling, Simulation and AnalysisPrevious experience supporting staffing, Independent Review Teams and support to the functional homeroomSalary Range: $147,800 USD - $221,800 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
