Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) has an opening for a
Manager Facilities Maintenance 2 to join our team of qualified,
diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo
Beach, California.Responsibilities and duties to include but are
not limited to:Supervises employees who maintain, and repair
utilities systems, buildings, and equipment via all of the
following trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry,
air-conditioning, heating, painting, and/or general maintenance.
Sets priorities and performs forecasting and allocates the
resources needed to complete all preventive and corrective
maintenance tasksWork autonomously in providing guidance and
leadership to maintenance personnelAct as advisor to a
multi-discipline crewHelps meet established schedules or resolve
technical or operational problemsProvide a collaborative
environment between personnelEscalate issues as needed to
leadership for full transparencyBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's
Degree with 5+ years of related experience; OR a Master's degree
with 3+ years' of related experience; OR 11+ years of experience in
lieu of a degreePrevious experience managing maintenance trades
and/or vendor contractsLeadership experience working in
collaboration across multiple organizations, contracts, and/or
customer relationshipsCandidate must be able to obtain and maintain
an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret
level with a background investigation date within 6 years, OR must
have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI access
with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed
within the last 5 years.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in all
areas of Facilities Maintenance operationsStrong background
electrical maintenanceAbility to communicate effectively with
senior leadershipAbility to develop and present material outside
the immediate work functionProven positive impact on employee
engagement activities across program and functional
organizationsProven financial, schedule, subcontract management,
technical performance, and execution experienceExperience
supporting multiple different review teamsFamiliar with a variety
of aerospace and/or similar industry production equipment and
manufacturing facilities infrastructureExperience with CAD/3D
design and/or ability to read and interpret blue printsAn active
U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a
background investigation date within 6 years, OR an active U.S.
Government SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation
(SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.Salary Range: $107,800 USD
$161,800 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
