Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) has an opening for a Manager 3, Facilities Planning and Site Strategy to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA and serve several locations.

The Facilities Planning and Site Strategy manager oversees Strategic and Tactical Space planning, office moves, and furniture deployment for Space Park Sites in Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Carson. This consist of 5M occupied square feet (unclassified & classified) over 130 acres, 47 buildings, and roughly 10,000 employees.
In this role you will:

Manage Staff of exempt/non-exempt and contracted workers

Manage multi-million dollar allocated annual planning indirect budgets

Obtain & interpreting program facilities space requirements

Develop Tactical & Strategic Office & Lab space plans for all SSSD locations

Manage Office, Lab, Manufacturing, & Warehouse Space Use & Occupancy (Employee and Square Footage)

Manage office furniture - purchasing, warehousing, and deployment

Plan utilization of office space with requirements of organizational efficiency, and available facilities and fund

Plan, coordinate, and allocate office space for all locations

Develop and recommend long-range plans to meet future office space needs

Formulate, recommend, and ensure compliance with approved standards and policies relating to office space and furnishings

May provide liaison with owners of rented office space in matters relating to planning and execution of alterations/leasehold improvements, occupancy, and adherence to lease allowance and terms

Facilitate and manage communications with internal customers, management, organization stakeholders, and Facilities teams through organized processes to ensure that pertinent information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets needs across multiple organizations. This includes the articulation of Facilities strategies and future state site scenarios.

Discrete Responsibilities:

Development of Strategic Master Site Plans

Forecasting Sector/Division Level Site Space Utilization Requirements (LRSP)

Developing Executive Level Space Facilitation Plans & Briefing Executive Management

Division Representative - NG Enterprise Facilities Working Group

Division Representative - NG Enterprise Real Estate & Facilities Integrated System Work Group (Archibus)

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management and/or Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or other related field with seven (7) Years of related experience; OR a Master's Degree with five (5) years of related experience

5 Years of experience successfully managing and leading teams

Experience with Facilities Management Systems such as Archibus, Tririga, or AutoCAD, etc.

Experience developing Integrated Facilitation Plans

Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or Visio)

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Department of Defense Top Secret and SCI Clearances

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to attract, retain and develop talent and execute a cohesive strategy to create an inclusive culture and build an engaged workforce

Aerospace Industry Large Site Management Experience

Experience in "Classified" Building Facilities Infrastructure & Space Planning

Experience in Real Estate Acquisition Trade Studies and Analysis

Experience in Aerospace Industry Classified space planning & moves

Experience in developing and leading executive level briefings

Possesses active U.S. Government Department of Defense Top Secret and SCI Clearances

Salary Range: $141,300 USD - $211,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
