SSSD has an opening for a Functional Budgeting Manger 2 who will manage and provide direction to business analysts in the Site Operations directorate, providing day to day direction and oversight. In this capacity the incumbent will be responsible for assignments and modifications to continue career development, setting, modifying, and assessing goals as required as well as coaching performance & providing training where needed. The role Interfaces with the Director of Site Operations (Facilities), Center Directors, Department Managers, Section Managers, and employees.

Additional responsibilities include:

Assure financial performance of the indirect, direct allocations, Non-Contractual Technical Activity (NCTA) & capital budgets
Work with technical management in developing and executing annual plans and prioritizations of commitments & expenditures
Partner with the management teams to develop and maintain accurate forecast of staffing requirements to enable the Directorate to provide resources to the Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to assure execution of our contracts
Responsible to work with the management teams to develop and maintain accurate forecast of staffing requirements to enable the Directorate to provide appropriate resources in support of the Site Operations and Facility's needs

Basic Qualifications:

BA or BS Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Minimum 5 years of Resource Management/Budget Management experience
An understanding of how to adjudicate compliance issues
MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience leading or managing a team
Demonstrated Facilitation / Team Leader skills
Resource management experience
Overhead management

Salary Range: $118,600 USD - $178,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
