career today. Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems
Engineer/Principal Systems Engineer to join its team in Roy, UT,
Colorado Springs, CO, Bellevue, NE, Manhattan Beach, CA or
Huntsville, UT and will be supporting the Sentinel Program.
Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development,
production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for
Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne
Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated
infrastructure. What you will get to do : The selected candidate
will perform Power System Design technical planning and manage the
PDP schedule for the Power Team. The candidate’s responsibilities
will also include performing CPLM Tech Lead reviews on PDPs in
addition to coordination with other teams. This position is in Roy,
UT and will support the Sentinel program. The selected candidate
will demonstrate technical skills, organization, be an effective
communicator, and problem solver who is able to develop and
maintain good working relationships with internal and external
stakeholders. The candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics
and integrity, and the capability to innovate. They will have the
ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across the
program as required to accomplish tasking. Knowledge, Skills and
Ability: General frequent use and application of technical
standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex
professional tasks. Problem Solving Provides solutions to a variety
of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as
assigned Discretion/Latitude Work is reviewed for soundness of
technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. Works under
general supervision. Impact Contributes to the completion of
milestones associated with specific projects. Liaison Primarily
with internal company contacts. Infrequent inter-organizational and
outside customer contacts on routine matters. Basic Qualifications:
This position may be hired at the System Engineer or Principal
Systems Engineer levels depending upon applicant qualifications.
Systems Engineer (level 2): Bachelor's degree in a Science,
Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an
accredited university and 2 years of experience. Must be a US
Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security
clearance at time of application, current and within scope ( Must
have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program
(SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by
the company to meet its business need 2 years (6 months w/Master’s
degree) experience with Systems Engineering Principles 2 years (6
months w/Master’s degree) experience with Requirements Development
or Requirement review. Principal Systems Engineer (level 3):
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering,
software engineering discipline or other STEM field of study or a
master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering,
software engineering or related STEM discipline and 5 years of
related experience master’s degree with 3 years. PhD with 1 year.
Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret
security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
( Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access
Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as
determined by the company to meet its business need 3 years of
experience with Systems Engineering Principles 3 years of
experience with Requirements Development 1 year of experience
with/understanding of MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering)
Principles Preferred Qualifications : A general understanding of
Engineering Board Processes Experience leading projects/assignments
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) or similar
Experience working with Cameo or similar tools Experience working
with DOORS or similar tools Experience with MBSE Position Benefits

schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a
nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday
off. SentinelSystems Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 -
$118,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however,
Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining
base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the
position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and
current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may
be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health
insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan,
Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or
