Principal Network Engineer (level 4) or a Staff Network Engineer
(level 5) to design, perform installation and configuration of
network products: switches, routers and firewalls. Installation
activities include: initial setup following standard configuration
guidelines, security hardening, cabling, labeling, documentation
and checkout. Ongoing tasks include: problem resolution, firewall
changes, connection additions, moves and changes, monitoring.Core
Responsibilities:Provide assistance in all aspects of network
management from network design through implementation, maintenance,
and upgrading of existing systemsImplement a communication system
requirements to support distributed functionality of a software
engineering environmentAnalyze network characteristicsTroubleshoots
network and system problemsThis requisition may be filled at either
a Senior Principal Network Engineer level or a Staff Network
Engineer levelBasic Qualifications for Senior Principal Network
Engineer:Active SCI clearance with adjudicated poly or TS clearance
with ability to obtain SCI access and adjudicated poly prior to
start dateBachelor's degree with 9 years of related experience, or
a Master's degree with 7 years of related experience; an additional
4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeAbility
to obtain a Cyber Security certificationBasic Qualifications for
Staff Network Engineer:Active SCI clearance with adjudicated poly
or TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI access and adjudicated
poly prior to start dateBachelor's degree with 14 years of related
experience, or a Master's degree with 12 years of related
experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered
in lieu of a degreeAbility to obtain a Cyber Security
certificationPreferred Qualifications:Current Cyber Security
CertificationInformation Assurance experience related to
Certification and AccreditationSystem Admin knowledge for Linux or
Windows is beneficialExperience in developing networks from design
through implementationExperience with CISCO IOS or NX-OSExperience
with network test gear to resolve technical issues at all layers of
OSI modelExperience configuring and maintaining Multicast
networkingExperience configuring routers for EIGRP, OSPF, IP
Multicast ProtocolsExperience configuring firewallsSalary Range:
$114,300.00 - $171,500.00Salary Range 2: $141,800.00 -
$212,800.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
