Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) is an industry-leading

Grumman, Strategic Space Systems Division, has an opening for a
Principal Industrial Engineer to join our team of qualified,
diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo
Beach, California. Responsibilities:Analyzes and designs sequence
of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and
production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes
methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and
personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident
prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel
concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies
pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and
production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops
and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and
revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in
the planning and design of facilities.Northrop Grumman offers a

off of workBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) discipline plus 5 years of engineering
experienceORMaster's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Math (STEM) discipline plus 3 years of engineering experience
- Experience in using ERP systems such as SAP OR shop floor
production systems (Solumina, MES, etc.)
- Proven leadership experience on a project and/or team
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance or
SCI access. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AutoCAD or Visio software
- Experience performing Earned Value Management
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard creation/
maintenance (Tableau, Power BI)
- Report programming experience (SQL, Crystal, MS Query, Bus.
Objects, etc.)
- Space Technology Experience
- Current SCI Clearance and the ability to maintain
clearance
- Documented experience working in a robust IPT environment
- Capacity and scheduling simulation experience (Simio, or other
simulation software) Salary Range: $95,000 USD - $142,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
