Structural Design Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse

In this role you will support the structural design activities with
focus on metallic structures, execute engineering design projects
on schedule (BTPs, Mod Drawings, Production), and support the
creation of reports to document findings of projects. This
individual will utilize 3D CAD using CATIA V5 to support design
tasks, as well as have an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning
and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to support other related
tasks
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering and 5 years of experience
with a background in structural design (Masters degree may count
towards an additional 2 years of experience)
Experience with commercial or military aircraft
Experience with industry standard design tools and processes
including 3D parametric modeling software
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to
interface with all levels of employees and management
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
Experience creating and developing preliminary engineering designs
and layouts.
Experience supporting manufacturing operations with design for
producibility, affordability, issue investigation, and creating
innovative solutions to complex problems.
Certification in Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Prior experience with CATIA V5
Prior experience with Teamcenter Product Data Manager
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Salary Range: $95,000 USD - $142,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
