This opportunity is for experienced school paraprofessionals who are fully credentialed and ready to start on short notice. The position is based in North Hollywood, CA, serving K-12 students on a contract basis for the current school year. Candidates will provide essential support to students with diverse special education needs within a dynamic educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Work alongside classroom teachers and special education staff to support students individualized learning goals Assist with daily activities, including toileting and diapering, when required, ensuring student dignity and comfort Manage caseloads that may include students of any age group or ability level Maintain accurate and timely sign-in/sign-out records for payroll purposes Adapt to a variety of classroom settings and provide focused support based on student needs Qualifications: Must hold full paraprofessional credentials A minimum of 2 full years of experience as a school paraprofessional, behavioral technician (BT), registered behavior technician (RBT), or related position in a school setting In-depth special education experience gained within the past two years Ability and willingness to work with all age groups and case types Punctual and reliable with the ability to comply with strict time tracking procedures Candidates must be prepared to start within 2-3 days notice Additional Details: This is a contract position for the current school year Candidates will be placed on a waitlist; placement is based on availability and immediate need The role requires flexibility and a commitment to student care in various educational contexts If you meet these qualifications and are ready to engage immediately in school paraprofessional work, please submit your application to be considered for this urgent need.
