Explore your future and launch your career today.Northrop Grumman's Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Principal Budget Analyst to join our team.This position will report to the Business Management Budget Manager and will work closely with the Business Manager & Lead in a directorate under SSSD Operations to meet the goals and objectives of the organization.The candidate will serve as the Business Management leadership point-of-contact and interface with the Center Director, Department Managers, Section Managers, and employees for the area.The ideal candidate will be able to lead others, be self-motivated, and have strong written, analytical, oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Successful candidate will need to interface with all levels of management.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Fiscal data planning, forecasting, tracking and analysis for monthly reporting requirements and reviews: Indirect Expense; NCTA; Capital
    • Compile and review of expenses to provide proper resource administration
    • Manpower/staffing requirement forecasting
    • Forecasting and managing of direct allocations
    • Provide compliance policy guidance, help interpret policies for non-routine activities - time charging
    • Ad hoc tasks/exercisesBasic Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting & 5 years of stated experience OR; a Master's Degree and 4 years of stated experience
      • Experience with budgeting
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office ProductsPreferred Qualifications:
        • Experience with SAP
