This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.The Strategy Analyst will work in a fast pace and rapidly changing environment to assess, recommend investment/partnership opportunities, and lead the development of business cases to drive unique value for the Corporation.The Strategy Analyst will play an integral role in the Sector's Strategic Initiatives that include mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures (MA&D), strategic partnerships and geographic strategies with responsibility for developing in-depth strategic and financial analyses of potential investment opportunities delivered to a senior management level audience. She/he will collaborate with Division/Functional strategy leads to understand priorities, gaps, and market positioning objectives.The successful candidate will support the development for meeting other portfolio shaping objectives including optimizing the business divisions within the Sector's current portfolio. --- Support development and implementation of new strategic frameworks and methodologies to prioritize, de-emphasize, and shape the overall portfolio to include scenario modeling and recommendations such as business restructuring, divestiture, or market entry / exit --- Proactively research, identify, assess, and recommend candidates for acquisition, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures by collaborating across the enterprise to classify inorganic growth opportunities and gaps --- Conduct thorough candidate screening and due diligence to include synergy analysis, strategic rationale, and financial exploration --- Support development of management presentations for external customers --- Organize and provide oversight amongst M&A project teams to ensure timely and cohesive deliverables --- Establish strong facilitative dialog and decision-making approaches that enhance understanding, foster engagement with findings and drive action--- Ad hoc analysis and special projects: Respond to or support executive sponsored special projects with dynamic requirements; succinctly and accurately present findings to senior leadership--- Ability to collect, analyze and synthesize business and financial insights from multiple sources Basic Qualifications for the Principal Strategy Analyst :

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum 6 years of experience or Master's degree with a minimum 4 years of experience in business, finance, technical or a related discipline
• Experience in financial analysis and/or strategy development
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance Basic Qualifications for the Sr. Principal Strategy Analyst :
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 10 years of experience or Master's degree with a minimum 8 years of experience in business, finance, technical or a related discipline
  • Experience in financial analysis and/or strategy development
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications:
    • MBA or other, relevant graduate degree. A technical degree coupled with relevant business education or relevant work experience.
    • Specific experience in the aerospace and/or defense industry
    • Previous Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Development experience
    • Strong analytical, statistical, and critical thinking skills paired with the ability to visualize in a meaningful manner
    • Dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to handle multiple priorities, and the ability to function with minimal guidance
    • Ability to communicate effectively with senior levels of management
    • Current DOD Secret or Top Secret clearance Salary Range Principal level: $92,200 - $138,400 Salary Range Sr. Principal level: $114,300 - $171,500 Salary Range: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USD Salary Range 2: $114,300 USD - $171,500 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
